Privacy Policy

Who we are

Reverium is a reference management tool for filmmakers and creative professionals. The service is operated by Reverium (individual entrepreneur, Russia). When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean Reverium.

What we collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service:

• Account data — email address and display name when you create an account in the desktop app.
• Page view analytics — anonymous, non-identifiable: page URL, screen resolution, browser language, and referrer. No cookies used for tracking. No IP addresses stored.
• Comments — when you leave a comment on a shared lookbook, we store your chosen display name, the comment text, and optionally your email (never shown publicly). A random token is saved in your browser's localStorage to let you edit your own comments.
• Local storage — we use browser localStorage (not cookies) to remember your language preference, display name for comments, and consent status. This data never leaves your device.
• Device info (desktop app) — OS type and app version for crash reporting and update delivery. No hardware identifiers.

What we may collect in the future

As the product evolves, we may introduce:

• Usage analytics in the desktop app — feature usage frequency, session duration (always aggregated, never individual tracking).
• Payment data — processed through third-party providers (Stripe, Telegram Stars). We never store card numbers or banking details.
• Email communications — transactional emails (password reset, receipts) and optional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Collaboration metadata — when shared workspaces are introduced, we'll store team membership and access permissions.

We will update this page before introducing any new data collection.

How we use your data

• To provide and improve the service
• To display your comments under lookbooks you choose to comment on
• To understand which features are used (aggregate analytics only)
• To send you important service notifications (account, security)
• To comply with legal obligations

What you agree to

By using Reverium (the website or the desktop app), you agree that:

• We may collect anonymous page view data as described above
• Comments you post on public lookbooks are visible to anyone with the link
• Your display name is shown publicly alongside your comments
• We may send you service-critical emails if you provide an email address
• We may update this policy and will note the date of changes at the top

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on servers located in Finland (Hetzner, EU jurisdiction). We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Third-party services

• Hetzner (hosting) — EU-based, GDPR compliant
• Cloudflare (DNS, CDN) — for performance and DDoS protection
• Let's Encrypt — SSL certificates

We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use third-party tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no ad networks).

Your rights

• Request a copy of your data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of any non-essential communications
• Clear localStorage in your browser at any time to remove local preferences
